First: Your group members and yourself will decide on which of the two roles you would like to take o: (1) Beekeeper or (2) an Investigator.
Second: Once your group members and yourself decided which role you would like to take on, PLEASE come see Miss Katie and tell her which role so she can mark it down.
THIRD: All groups should start with basic research on what a Honeybee and a Beekeeper are. Through this research, your group should figure out the roles that honey bees and beekeepers play in society.
When you have some basic research on Honeybees done, you will need to record some basic information regarding (1) what is a Honeybee, (2) what is a beekeeper and what is their job? (3) what are some benefits to honey bees (4) what the sources of the pollutants that are killing off honey bees? (5) There are links below to help you start your research.

Fourth: After your group has conducted basic research on Honeybees you will then continue research based on the role you have taken on. The Beekeepers will be using the links below to answer the following questions: (1) What is the purpose for harvesting HoneyBees? (2) What are some of the responsibilities that a bee keeper has? (3) What efforts have Beekeepers made to stop this problem? (4) What are some theories that have arisen if HoneyBees were to go extinct?

The Investigators will be using the links below to answer the following questions: (1) What are the reasons Honeybees are dying at a rapid rate? (2) What are the effects of Honeybees dying for the environment/people? (3) Is there anything people can do to stop this issue? (4) Find a specific HoneyBee farm that has been affected by HoneyBees dying off.

Fifth: When all of the research has been done and completed, it is time to start creating your final project. Your final project will consist of a powerpoint with your findings and a poster. Your group will be graded based on the rubric in the evaluation section.
